Vibrant HCMC - Sight-Seeing Locations - Saigon – Serene and peaceful

Saigon – Serene and peaceful

Saigon – Ho Chi Minh City, a city that is bustling and vibrant; a good land where the birds perch upon, people from all regions come to work, live, study… Now, because of the “Social distancing”, Saigon has become unusually deserted. Every corner, street, office, school, etc. is quiet, peaceful and entirely different from the image of the daily rush and bustle.

An early arrival to the office as usual, the empty roads and streets recall the traffic jam – an icon of the most populous city in the country. Restaurants are temporarily closed, evoking the unforgettable taste of Mr. Phon’s Northern Pho – Cao Van restaurant, the bowl of bun bo filled with love of Hue and the flavorful bowl of fish cake noodle smelling like fresh sea air or the sweet taste of bun nuoc leo, bun mam from the Mekong Delta.

Saigon – serene and peaceful, this is an occasion for us to settle, to slow down, to care more, share more and love more; and this is also an opportunity to change, renew ourselves and strongly believe that the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic will end soon. The streets will be lively again, will return to their usual bustle and hustle.
